Port-na-criche, Cornaigbeg, Isle of TireePort-na-criche is situated at the end of a single-track road, with one other property as its immediate neighbour.
It faces east over Balephetrish Bay and on a clear day views of the islands of Skye, Rum, Eigg and Coll can be seen as well as Benmore on Mull. The sunrises and sunsets are pretty spectacular too!
There is a rocky promontory in front of the cottage and the numerous rock pools are alive with all kinds of sea life. The bay abounds with seabirds and seals and occasionally an otter can be seen feeding on the rocks in front of the cottage.
The long sandy bay of Balephetrish is just a five-minute walk along a track from the cottage and is a popular bay for the many windsurfers and watersport enthusiasts who visit the island.
Port-na-criche has been in the same family for over 200 years and has been modernised over the years to a comfortable standard.
